Sandvik commissions new Australian dealer for mobile crushers

Sandvik has appointed Porter Group as the agent for its range of mobile crushers and screens for the whole of Australia.

The move is an extension of Sandvik’s appointment of Porter Group as its crushing and screening equipment agent in Western Australia in March last year.

Porter Group imports heavy equipment through sales and hire, providing after-sales support in servicing and parts, as well as construction equipment financing options.

Porter Equipment Australasia general manager Darren Ralph said the latest extension of the Sandvik relationship was an important progression for the brand in the region.

“Sandvik Mobiles are global leaders in technology and productivity, and this development will ensure that the product is brought to the customer base efficiently,” Ralph said.

“We aim to provide Sandvik Mobiles with a platform to propel the brand to new heights in Australia.”

The relationship between the two companies dates back to 2009, when Porter Group became the go-to provider for Sandvik mobile crushing and screening hardware in New Zealand.

Porter Group owns more than 50 retail locations across New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Southern California in the United States.

Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens manufacture tracked, wheeled and portable plant, ranging from jaw, impact and cone crushers; three-way split screens, doublescreens, triple deck screens to scalpers.
