Rockbreaker features that increase uptime

Rammer has been setting standards for breaking for four decades and was the first brand to offer large and heavy duty rockbreakers for tough conditions.

Like others in the large range of Rammer hydraulic rockbreakers, the recently launched giant Rammer 9033 rockbreaker comes with features that ensure reduced breaking times and increased uptime.

With Rammer’s sealed high-pressure membrane accumulator system, constant and high breaking power is maintained at all times. The membrane accumulator is gas leak proof, avoiding unnecessary downtime due to gas re-charging because Rammer does not require re-fill.

Rammer’s revolutionary Fixed Blow Energy operating principle combines stroke length, blow energy and a patented idle blow protection feature, allowing rockbreaker to be adjusted to match individual carriers and applications. This means that every impact – from first to last – is at maximum power, regardless of oil flow or frequency, reducing breaking time and maximising productivity.

Other Rammer features such as long-life, high-tension VIDAT tie rods improve reliability and lower operating costs, automatic lubrication systems provide greater wear protection and a longer service life, and with Rammer’s Ramdata II service indicator operators and service personnel can monitor and log vital service and maintenance information to further minimise downtime.

Rammer Rockbreakers are custom-built for a long, trouble-free life making them reliable and productive partner for your carrier, particularly in remote locations.

Rammer rockbreakers are suitable for carriers in the 0.6–120 tonnes operating weight range.
