Rema Tip Top has opened a ‘centre of excellence’ in Queensland to complement its existing west coast premises in Perth.
The Brisbane-based centre will serve as a home for the company’s east coast surface protection operations, extending the company’s agile service offering for local and national customers.
Rema Tip Top’s surface protection cladding includes several rubber lining and coating systems to help prevent corrosion and wear.
The facility will establish a base for future growth in this capacity, while also supporting the company’s development of its future materials processing capability.
“The Brisbane centre of excellence demonstrates Rema Tip Top’s commitment to providing leading service around the country, by bringing unmatched surface protection domain experience to the area and establishing a base for continued growth,” Rema Tip Top stated.
Rema Tip Top Industry Australia chief executive officer Karsten Bartnicki said the centre would create an immediate economic impact in the region, providing regional growth and employment opportunities.
The centre, which features a dedicated workshop and office space, is in Northgate, a suburb in Brisbane’s inner north with proximity to both Brisbane Airport and Brisbane Port.
