Avoca Resources announced an 83% increase in gold production over the June quarter in its quarterly report on Friday.
The company said it produced 52,803 ounces during the period, with 49,823 coming from the Trident underground mine.
The Trident mine processed a total of 301,035 tonnes of ore with a 97.5% recovery rate.
The mine’s paste plant is now 69% complete, the company said.
According to Avoca, its first full year as a gold producer yielded a total of 131,227 ounces.
The company is forecasting production levels of over 190,000 ounces for the 2010 financial year.
Avoca completed a takeover of Dioro Exploration last week, after Dioro shareholders accepted an offer of one Avoca share for every 2.3 Dioro shares.
