Quarry worker killed

A Moranbah quarry worker has died following a conveyor belt accident.

The unnamed 21 year old man was killed late last night at the MCG Group's Moranbah South Quarry, the Daily Mercury reports.

It is believed that the man became trapped in the conveyor belt.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was injured in the accident.

The company MCG carry out a range of resources contracting operations such as drilling, crushing, rental, and resource development works.
