Prime Creative Media acquires PPO and Gas Today from Great Southern Press

Prime Creative Media has increased its investment in the resources industry, with the acquisition of Pipeline, Plant & Offshore (PPO) premium subscription news service, online project database, and the Gas Today publication, web site, and enewsletter from Great Southern Press.

As of December 3, Prime Creative Media will publish PPO, under the leadership of COO Zelda Tupicoff and managing editor Ben Creagh, who bring their wealth of experience in the oil & gas and resources sector to the service.

“With Australia’s oil and gas industry currently operating billions of dollars worth of projects, up-to-date information on the latest products, technology and techniques is paramount for business leaders to make informed purchasing decision,” Tupicoff said.

“With the acquisition of these valuable news sources, Prime Creative Media is able to consolidate its support in growing the oil & gas industry. We look forward to creating fantastic opportunities for our partners to connect with an unprecedented number of decision makers in the industry.”

Prime Creative Media has long been committed to the resources sector, as the publisher of Australian Mining, Safe to Work, the Oil & Gas Bulletin, and Oil & Gas Industry News.

PPO will continue as a premium subscription news service, providing daily updates on news, and a comprehensive project database.

Oil & Gas Industry News will be amalgamated with Gas Today, under a new masthead Oil & Gas Today.

The weekly enewsletter will be rebranded immediately, with all historical content from both sources housed on the same site, with plans to increase traffic dramatically.

The newsletter list will lift to more than 27,000, dramatically increasing the reach of both brands. The weekly Oil & Gas Today newsletter, will deliver breaking information and technology releases, helping the industry make informed purchasing decisions.

Oil & Gas Today will be paired with a bi-monthly printed publication, launching in March 2020.

The printed publication, with a projected circulation of more than 4000, will provide a positive platform for the industry, allowing in-depth coverage into new projects, integrity and maintenance, technology, and people who power this great industry.
