P&H Minepro to build mining facility in the Hunter

 P&H Minepro’s application to build a facility to repair mining equipment in Rutherford has been approved.

The $25 million facility was approved by the Maitland Council last night, which stated that "the proposed development is considered satisfactory….. the development application is recommended for approval subject to consent conditions".

The facility itself will comprise of a 1.24 hectare industrial building on a 4.51 hectare site.

It will run for 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will primarily be a mining machinery support servicing and repair centre.

Once completed, it will employ approximately 206 people.

It will be located in the Anambah business park, in Rutherford.
