NRW reduces work at Port Hedland

NRW's scope of work for the Port Hedland inner has been reduced.

NRW's scope of work for the Port Hedland inner has been reduced.

It comes after the company received notification from the Fluor & SKM Team (FAST) the project size has been cut back, with the works reduced at Nelson Point.

Earlier this month FAST was forced to cut around a third of its workforce following the reduction of work throughout the Pilbara.

According to NRW this latest move will cut around $75 to $80 million from its existing contracted works.

However "NRW does not expect any impact of full year guidance, as reported to the market on 6 September".
