Monadelphous wins massive $200m Gorgon LNG contract

Monadelphous has won an extension to its facilities management contract at Chevron's Gorgon LNG project.

The win is an extension of the contract originally awarded in November 2009.

The contract, valued at $200 million, will see it continue to provide the operation and maintenance of construction facilities and utilities on Barrow Island, off Western Australia.

The scope of services include operating and maintaining water and wastewater management plants, power generation and distribution systems, as well as management and maintenance of buildings, vehicles, plant, and equipment.

Approximately 200 people will be employed on the back of the contract.
