Monadelphous secures contracts worth $140million

Monadelphous won new contracts and additional works for a range of projects in the resources industry valued at $140 million.

These include electrical and instrumentation works for the product loading jetty with JKC Australia LNG and the Ichthys onshore LNG project in Darwin; design and construction of a potable water treatment plant for the Western Downs Regional Council in Chinchilla QLD; the design, construction, and commissioning of a liquid fuel supply system for Rio Tinto’s Cape Lambert Port Facility in WA; and supporting BHP’s Olympic Dam operations for an additional five years, after providing maintenance and industrial service support at the site for more than 25 years.

Monadelphous managing director Rob Velletri said the contracts showed the company’s “depth of capabilities”.

In March, Monadelphous sued development companies DPB Development Group (DDG) and TEC Pilbara for more than $33 million due to a delayed start to the FMG Pilbara pipeline project.
