BC Iron has added two non-executive directors to its board, increasing the number of directors at the company to six. The company has appointed Jenny Bloom, who has extensive business background with experience in the private and public sector. Bloom is currently the deputy chair of the Waste Authority of Western Australia.
Perth-based BC Iron has also appointed Michael Blakiston, who is a partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s energy and resources group. Blakiston advises in relation to asset acquisition and disposal, project structuring, joint venture and strategic alliances, capital raising, M&A, and more.
Walkabout Resources has made two key changes to its leadership team. While remaining an executive director, Allan Mulligan has voluntarily stood down as managing director to solely focus on project development at the company’s assets in Africa. Trevor Benson has moved from non-executive to executive chairman with a focus on corporate activities, including product marketing with primary responsibility for securing funding for project development and working capital.
Energy Metals has appointed Jan Macpherson as a non-executive director. Macpherson is a legal executive with strong utilisation of post graduate business management and corporate governance qualifications. She has extensive experience in executive management, legal, commercial and corporate governance.
Former Santos chief executive and managing director David Knox has been appointed as a non-executive director of energy storage company, Redflow. Knox served as CEO/MD of Santos from 2008-2015.
Eneabba Gas has appointed Justin Barton as a non-executive director. Barton is an experienced chief financial officer in the mining and energy sector. He is also a non-executive director at Interpose Holdings.
