With an increase of $2430 across all fees, the biggest increases are in application fees.
Application for registration of a mineral claim has risen from $30.75 to $300, while a Mining lease application fee has risen from $81 to $1,000.
Twenty fees have been revoked and several amalgamated.
The South Australian Chamber Of Minerals and Energy (SACOME) has been assured that all revenue raised from the increased fees will go back into the PIRSA MER Budget to assist with the PACE program and staff resourcing.
