Miner killed at Norseman

A worker has been killed at the Central Norseman gold mine.

The man was died after receiving fatal injuries when a bridge on top of a settling tank collapsed, according to The West Australian.

The bridge collapsed, trapping the man in the tank.

A crane was used to try and rescue him, however he later died from his injuries.

Two safety inspectors were reportedly at the site carrying out a scheduled inspection when the incident occurred.
