MICROMINE gears up for Mining World Central Asia

MICROMINE is excited to be exhibiting at Mining World Central Asia 2017 from September 20 – 22 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Mining World Central Asia (UFI Approved Event) is the largest and most respected mining exhibition in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Over the years, the exhibition has become a traditional meeting place for representatives of Kazakhstan’s mining and metallurgical community, and industry professionals from more than 28 countries. With well over 300 companies in attendance, the event provides a platform to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the mining and metallurgical industries.

MICROMINE will be showcasing the entire suite of intuitive mining solutions at the event including data management solution Geobank, along with Micromine 2016 and Pitram.

Micromine’s data management solution, Geobank provides a secure and flexible solution for mining and exploration operations. Some of the key enhancements and features of the recently updated Geobank 2017 include; fixes to the graphic report bar chart annotation, connectors, legends, search and design sheet display, response speed improvements when LAS or general imports are cancelled, slow performance has been addressed in a variety of places, issues with column settings and decimal places for exports have been addressed and fixes to section view alignment in plain view.

Enhanced usability with a broad range of functionality has been introduced including, data views now support the addition of new rows between existing rows, graphic report logarithmic scales now have versatile display options and alignment are significantly more intuitive, functionality for Crypkey licence transfer has been added, along with web-based help, which is accessible from within Geobank.

Micromine is a comprehensive and easy to use exploration and mine design solution that offers integrated tools for modelling, estimation, design, optimisation and scheduling. Attendees will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of Micromine’s modelling capabilities, providing users with an in-depth understanding of projects, which allows prospective regions to be targeted more accurately. Miners are provided with interactive and easy-to-use modelling, estimation, and design tools to simplify day-to-day design and production tasks.

MICROMINE’s product specialists will also be available to demonstrate the capabilities of the company’s leading fleet management and mine control solution, Pitram. Pitram manages and processes mine site data in real-time. As a scalable solution, it is optimised for both open pit and underground mine construction and production.
