Metso has won orders for comminution and material handling technologies for three greenfield iron ore and copper projects in Australia and South America.
The equipment delivery includes grinding mills; equipment for primary, secondary and tertiary crushing; as well as apron and belt feeders for bulk material handling purposes.
The orders will be booked in Metso’s third-quarter 2018 orders received.

The company offers equipment and services for the sustainable processing and flow of natural resources in the mining industries, which range from crushing, grinding, separation, to slurry pumping.
In August this year, Metso was recognised as the best in grinding performance and plant maintenance services, as well as the Most Recognised International Mining Supplier and the Most Innovative International Supplier by the Chilean mining industry.
Metso reported sales of about €2.7 billion ($4.3 billion) in 2017, and employs more than 12,000 people in over 50 countries.
