A mine worker has been found dead in his room at Saracen Mineral Holdings' camp in Western Australia.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, The West Australian reported.
Gold miner Saracen released a statement to say the man had “passed away overnight” at the Red October mining accommodation village.
Managing director Raleigh Finlayson said the company would provide support to both the man’s family and workers on site.
"This is a very sad occurrence and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and work mates of the man at this time," Finlayson said.
