Kula Gold has appointed Arccon Mining Services for an engineering design contract at the company's Woodlark Island project.
The contract will see Arccon revise the miner's process plant and site infrastructure design as well as capital costs estimates so that Kula can optimise its feasibility study.
According to Kula, Arccon also has the capacity to provide EPC services to construct the Woodlark Island gold project, and has expressed interest in doing so.
Arccon says it will aid Kula in complete the final stages of its feasibility study, and after Q3 this year will offer a lump sum EPC contract for the development and delivery of Woodlark.
Kula is currently working on a drilling program to prove up its resource on Woodlark.
