Industrea wins Lady Annie contract extension

Industrea Mining Services has won an extension to its equipment hire contract at the Lady Annie mine.

The $26.9 million contract will see Industrea provide CST Minerals with machinery hire, servicing and support

It will run from February next year until February 2014.

Industrea managing director, Robin Levison explained that the contract extension relates to existing equipment on site.

"Our initial engagement commenced in August 2010 and has now been renewed until February 2014. We are delighted to continue providing equipment as part of Lady Annie’s expanding copper production targets for the next two years," Levison said.

The copper mine is located about 120 kilometres north west of Mount Isa and is focused on a production target of approximately 24 000 tonnes of copper this year, and growing to between 28 000 and 30 000 tonnes in 2012.
