Hughes wins new gold drilling contracts

Hughes Drilling subsidiary JSW has won a number of drilling contracts in Western Australia.

The group has won a two year extension to its existing contract for work at Ramelius Resources’ Mt Magnet gold mine.

JSW will carry out grade control drilling services at the site, carrying on the role it has played at the mine since August 2011.

The contract has also won a new contract extension for work at South32’s Boddington bauxite mine.

The new, 18 month contract, will see JSW provide blast hole drilling services, which has it has carried out since March 2013.

Hughes Drilling managing director Bob Hughes said the company was delighted to continue its operations with South32.
