Hughes Drilling win Anglo American contract extension

Hughes Drilling has won an extension to its contract at Anglo American's Callide coal mine.

The contract is for the provision of overburden drilling services at the site.

The extension will now seek work run until December 2015, using existing plant and equipment. at the mine.

Callide itself is an open cut operation mining around eight million tonnes of thermal coal annually for domestic use.
