Gunman shoots at BHP iron ore train

Western Australian police believe that damage to a moving BHP Billiton train was caused by gunfire.

The damage was thought to have been caused while the iron ore train was travelling on the Mooka line towards Port Hedland.

The train was forced to stop due to mechanical faults, and inspection showed the damage may have been caused by a firearm.
