Greyhound unveils new link

Greyhound begins a new run targeted at servicing mining shifts.

Greyhound has unveiled its latest link which is targeted at servicing mining shifts in Central Queensland.

Starting today, Greyhound will introduce a new coach service between Emerald and Blackwater to cater for the increasing number of miners required in region.

Greyhound chief executive officer Robert Thomas said these new services have been scheduled to suit miners who need to travel between the two mining centres.

Central Queensland has recently exploded on the back of coal seam gas projects and the continuation of base metal projects, increasing the number of mine workers when most states saw a dramatic drop in the number of staff at minesites.
