Dioro Exploration last week reported record gold production at its Jubilee Mill in its August quarter results, following on from record production in the previous quarter.

The company produced 21,353 ounces of gold through the mill in the period, including 14,877 ounces from the Frog’s Leg underground mine and 6477 ounces from the South Kal operations.

The record was achieved despite the fact the mill was used by outside parties during most of June to carry out toll treatment of ore, the company said.

A total of 13.2 km of underground development has been carried out at Frog’s Leg since mining commenced, with its twin declines reaching a depth of 300 m by the end of August.

Dioro also reported it had commenced mining at its Mt Martin project during the quarter, producing a small quantity of ore.

The mine should be completed by November this year.
