Fleetwood has signed a mining camp agreement with Rio Tinto for housing in Karratha, Western Australia.

The contract sees Rio to take a minimum of 350 rooms over 12 months from July 2011, with a rolling option to extend the term for additional six month intervals from 30 June 2012.

Named the Searipple Village, it is designed to fill the accommodation gap in the region and support new construction projects in Karratha.
