EVCCO has launched a new series of enviro-friendly HFT (Halogen Free Tubing) safety conduits.
General manager John Selkirk told Australian Mining that the flame retardant conduit minimises safety risks associated with PVC conduits.
“The conduit is ideally suited to areas where there is coal dust as it has a high degree of volatility,” he said.
According to the company, the HFT conduit is lighter and easier to install than metal and PVC conduits and does not contain environmental and safety hazards that can leach into soil or be released into the air by fire.
The conduits are available in sizes from 20 to 110 mm (outside diameter) and come with a comprehensive range of junction boxes, inspection elbows and tees, bends and adaptors.
