Explosives truck rolls

Western Australia‘s Great Northern Highway was shut after a truck carrying ammonium nitrate rolled.

The road train, which was carrying around 30 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, rolled late Friday night, according to The West.

Exclusion zones were erected after the emulsion began to leak from the truck.

Late last year a truck carrying ammonium nitrate spilled its load in North Fremantle.

Approximately 200 kilograms of ammonium nitrate poured out of torn bags across the road, shutting down traffic.
