A former top executive of Woodside, who last year won a $170,000 sex discrimination payout, is suing the company for another $50,000 over alleged defamation last year.

According to PerthNow Jill Mustard is alleging former Woodside CEO Don Voelte defamed her in front of 200 people at an Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association conference last year.

Mustard’s lawyers are also seeking money from Woodside after what they claim was a defamatory statement released to the media after Mustard last year accused Woodside of being a "boys club".

Last year Mustard said she was left out of professional opportunities after taking maternity leave, a claim Woodside has previously denied.
