A new sales and service location for a wear parts and attachments for the mining and construction industries will open in Mt Isa, allowing easier access to the products for companies in the region.
Jeff Kershaw, managing director Asia Pacific for ESCO corporation said the development will bring new possibilities for the mining industry.
“ESCO Mt. Isa will provide us with the platform to bring unparalleled value in products and services to our customers in this key mining region,” he said.
The outlet will open with local sales and service personnel on 1 April and offer a complete range of manganese crusher wear products, bi-metallic wear buttons and blocks, and the Ultralok Tooth System.
The company said it intends to expand the range of products to include a full line of ESCO Ground Engaging Tools, buckets and wear parts, to become available when the its license agreement with Bradken ends 30 June.
ESCO’s director of sales Australia said the company is evolving with the changing mining industry.
“ESCO’s presence in the area shows a strong commitment to our customers and the communities we serve,” he said.
“The hard rock industries’ ever-increasing demand for safety and durability makes Mt. Isa an ideal location for ESCO products and complementary services.”
