US industrial equipment and GET specialist Esco Corporation has opened a branch in Western Australia.
The Kalgoorlie based office is part of the company’s move to tap into the State’s burgeoning mining boom.
Esco said its office will open in around four weeks time, and service clients which include the super pit owners Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines, and BHP’s Mt Keith nickel mine.
Esco’s Asia Pacific head office is based in Brisbane, and it has a further three branches in Queensland, but this WA office is a first for the state.
"Establishing the Esco Kalgoorlie branch is an important step in the company’s efforts to directly serve customers throughout Australia," Esco’s Asia-Pacific managing director, Jeff Kershaw, said.
