Emeco CEO stepping down

Mining equipment hire and rental company Emeco has announced its managing director and CEO Keith Gordon will step down from his role later this year.

The company’s chairman Alec Brennan said in an ASX announcement Gordon told the board he will take a break from corporate life before weighing his options for the future.

Gordon will remain in his role until the company appoints a new CEO to ensure a smooth transition, the announcement said.

Brennan thanked Gordon for his contribution to the company since his appointment in December 2009.

“Keith has overseen a period of significant transformation at Emeco. We thank him for his efforts and wish him well in his future endeavours,” he said.
