Earthquake rocks Kalgoorlie

Kalgoorlie-Blouder has been shaken by a 3.3 magnitude earthquake.

It hit just north of the Eastern Goldfields city at around midday, yesterday local time, according to The West.

Its epicenter was located near the town of Kanowna.

Barrick Gold’s nearby Kanowna Belle mine was safely evacuated.

No injures were recorded.
