Doray Minerals managing director quits

Doray Minerals’ founder and managing director Allan Kelly has resigned from the company after seven-and-a-half years, citing personal reasons.

Kelly founded Doray in mid-2009 and managed the company through the pre-IPO stage and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in February 2010.

Following the listing, Kelly oversaw the discovery, funding, permitting, construction, commissioning and operation of the Andy Wells gold project in Western Australia.

Most recently, Kelly managed the takeover of Mutiny Gold and subsequent funding, construction and commissioning of the now-producing Deflector gold project.

According to Doray, non-executive director Leigh Junk will join the company’s executive management team and will perform the duties of managing director following a handover period.
