Doray commissions processing plant at Deflector

Doray Minerals has begun commissioning its new processing plant at its Deflector gold mine.

The company has started the first stage of the commissioning process for the 480ktpa plant, with contractor GR Engineering Services working on the crushing circuit to prepare for the first parcels of waste material being fed into the crusher.

Commissioning of the ball mill and flotation circuit will follow with all processing plant areas to be completed by the end of next month.

On the back of the commissioning, Doray added that open pit mining is progressing and the operation begun stockpiling high grade ore from the pit on its newly completed ROM pad.

Both underground mining and production are still on schedule for June 2016.
