Decmil Australia has scored a $30 million services and infrastructure contract on Rio Tinto's Marandoo Mine in the Pilbara.
In a statement Decmil said the contract involved the construction of heavy mobile equipment infrastructure and facilities.
Construction of a workshop, offices, staff amenities, and refueling and storage facilities will be part of the expansion.
The construction forms part of Rio's Phase 2 expansion at Marandoo and Decmil said it expected work to commence in September and take around six months.
