Crane leader acquires business

BRISBANE based crane company James Equipment has acquired crane industry stalwart GM Baden

BRISBANE based crane company James Equipment has acquired crane industry stalwart GM Baden.

“The merger aims to combine sales and service coverage across crane and all-terrain segments,” James Equipment general manager Peter Shelton said.

“GM Baden’s past association with the Liebherr brand of cranes has provided GM Baden with an impressive service support infrastructure and network,” Shelton said.

“Over a period of time the service support structures in place at GM Baden will be integrated into the James Equipment organisation,” he said.

The move is said to improve the breadth and depth of technical support, as well as servicing and spare parts available.

G.M Baden Pty Ltd commenced trading in 1988.

The company has service facilities in both Sydney and Brisbane and a range of international suppliers.
