MATERIALS hanlding equipment supplier Kinder & Co is running a conveyor road show.
Managing Director Neil Kinder said it was an exciting and new way of doing business.
“It allows us to take a fully functioning conveyor on the road, put it in front of our customers maintenance and production personnel and demonstrate exactly how a modern conveyor can be setup using the latest standards of technology,” he said.
“We do not see this as marketing, but as training. It allows us to demonstrate our equipment in a working environment, explaining exactly how it works, while at the same time giving our customers real hands on experience with our technology before they buy.”
Designed and built by the company and weighing in at about two and a half tonnes, the Kinder Conveyor Road Show is a trailer-mounted conveyor that can easily be towed by a ute or small truck.
Once on site, it can be quickly set up to run and demonstrate all the latest conveyor technology available from the company.
The Road Show has recently returned from a six-week tour of Queensland, where it attracted quite an audience at each of its many stops.
“The idea is to give as many people as possible from each of our customers, the opportunity to experience the equipment during each stop,” Kinder added.
