Clough has been awarded an engineering services contract for Woodside.
The contract, which has not been given a valuation, covers the total engineering spectrum, including concept and feasibility studies, front-end engineering and design (FED), engineering assessment and review, detailed engineering, and full production support across all of Woodside’s onshore and offshore producing assets.
“We are delighted to be selected as an engineering partner by our key client Woodside,” Clough CEO Peter Bennet said.
“Over the past two years, we have worked hard to lower our cost base and increase productivity by investing in our engineering and project management systems and talent development. This contract award sees this investment come to fruition, and reinforces Clough’s capability to work across asset life-cycle while building upon our established brownfields engineering credentials.
“Our brownfields engineering team will deliver fit-for-purpose engineering solutions that reduce capex and opex costs while increasing safety, productivity and schedule certainty.”
In addition to this, Clough’s global LNG subsidiary CH-IV has also won an owner’s engineer contract for Eagle LNG for the LNG production and export facility on Zoo Parkway.
