Chinese coal mine explosion: all 33 dead

All of the 33 miners trapped underground after a gas explosion in a Chinese coal mine have been found dead following the incident on Monday.

The blast happened in the city of Chongqing, at a mine operated by Jinshangou Coal Industry, with two miners managing to escape.

Each of the bodies were recovered with rescuers bowing their heads in memorial for the deceased, AP reports.
