Chicago Pneumatic Portable Equipment Australia has partnered with BlastOne to offer its portable compressors, light towers and generator lines across Australia and New Zealand.

The Atlas Copco subsidiary selected BlastOne for its industry knowledge and reach in supplying to the Asia-Pacific region.

Chicago Pneumatic has spent 120 years developing its reliability of product and of customer service and has since expanded into the southern hemisphere.

Chicago Pneumatic Portable Equipment regional general manager Australia and Oceania Matt Le Cornu said the pieces had fallen into place to allow the partnership.

“This agreement allows us to broaden our presence through the BlastOne National footprint, bringing the Chicago Pneumatic brand closer to customers across the country,” Le Cornu said.

“With Chicago Pnuematic celebrating our 120th anniversary in 2021, I think now is the perfect time to be expanding our footprint through strategic relationships with partners who share the same values and vision and who rely on strong historical foundations whilst being firmly focussed on a sustainable future.”

BlastOne chief executive officer Matthew Rowland said the businesses complemented each other well.

“We are excited to be partnering with Atlas Copco and distributing the Chicago Pneumatic range which is a natural extension to our current products,” Rowland said.

Since 1975, BlastOne has grown its offering in technologies, systems and services for surface preparation and preservation in a blasting context.

The company has extended its product from support service, training, custom solutions and even painting needs while catering to a range of industries.

Atlas Copco provides industrial productivity solutions across the globe, specialising in compressors and pumps for the mining industry.
