Bradken has acquired Wear Protect Systems in Western Australia for $13.3 million.
The acquisition is funded from current facilities and will be completed by the end of the month.
Wear Protect Systems is a West Australian based manufacturer and supplier of ceramic wear liners a coating compounds for the mining industry.
It will become part of Bradken Mining Divisions Wear Products division.
Bradken managing director Brian Hodges said the acquisition will allow the company “to leverage sales of a complementary range of wear products and materials” and well as expand its geographic reach.
