Aussie geophysicist found dead

An Australian man has died in a plane crash after attempting a coalmine survey in Indonesia.

AAP reports Elloitt Geophysics general manager Peter Elliott was found dead with the plane's pilot and two Indonesian men.

The plane disappeared in East Kalimantan on Friday, with rescue workers discovering the wreckage in a mountainous region of the island that night.
