Alliance Aviation wins MMG contract extensions

Alliance Aviation has signed extensions to its existing contracts with Incitec Pivot and the miner MMG.

Both contracts are for fly in fly out services.

Incitec Pivot has extended the FIFO contract for its Phosphate Hill in North Queensland for another five years, while MMG has added another 18 months at its Century mine.

Alliance will run eight weekly services between Phosphate Hill and Townsville, and eight from Cairns to Lawn Hill and twelve from Townsville to Lawn Hill for MMG.

Scott McMillan, Alliance's managing director, said "our FIFO offering, with an Australia-wide network of aviation services allows us to provide the responsiveness and flexibility our customers require".

"We are committed to building a sustainable earnings pipeline and the longstanding relationships we've built with blue-chip customers like INcitec Pivot and MMG contribute to this goal."

These new contracts build on its other wins over the past 12 months, which include an extended contract for BHP's Groote Eylandt Mining Company (GEMCO) for another five years.
