Temporary power generation company Aggreko has acquired US-based TuCo Industrial Products, a temporary heat and air conditioning equipment provider for the construction, industrial and commercial industries.

The acquisition will add more than 2000 specialised assets to Aggreko’s fleet.

Aggreko’s managing director Mel Parker said, “Our growth strategy is focused on continued expansion throughout North America including the Pacific Northwest, and through targeted acquisitions such as that of TuCo.”

He added that TuCo’s management team and technicians will provide an extra level of expertise and service to the company.

TuCo owner Jeff Cohen said, “We are excited to join the Aggreko organisation and provide our customers with a platform for expanded rental solutions and service capabilities in the Pacific Northwest.”

Aggreko plans to fully integrate TuCo’s operations into its North America business by the end of the second quarter of 2017.
