3 huge mining trucks [pictures]

For this week's Friday fun we've put together pictures of some of the largest mining trucks in the industry.

We've started at the top with the Westech T282C body.

With a volume of 470 cubic metres, this is the largest mining truck body by volume.

It was manufactured, designed, and engineered by Westech and Austin Engineering and presented at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine in Wyoming last year.

This next shot is of the reliable CAT 797 packed full of coal.

Sometimes you just don't understand the scale of these machines until you park them next to something.

Finally we've got what looks like another CAT 797, but from the rear view. Those tyres look like they're under a bit of pressure.
