You now have until May 1st to nominate women doing great work in your company.
Nominations for the 2014 Women in Industry Awards have been extended so busy mining companies have more time to help celebrate the women working in their business.
The awards aim to recognise and reward the achievements of women working in the industrial sectors, and aims to raise the profile of women within industry, as well as promote excellence.
Australian Mining has teamed up with Manufacturers’ Monthly and PACE to acknowledge women who have achieved success through their invaluable leadership, innovation and commitment to their industries.
And if the current response is anything to go by, the mining industry is more than prepared and well-versed at raising the profile of women.
From great retention initiatives to women working as engineers, managers and business development executives in some of the nation’s biggest mining operations – it’s clear to see the talented ladies mining is producing.
If you want to get involved, get nominating!
