National Plastics & Rubber expands operations in WA

National Plastics & Rubber (National Plastics), a leading Australian manufacturer of polyurethane products for the mining and heavy industries, is proud to announce the opening of its new supply centre in Perth, Western Australia.

This facility is set to become a vital hub for delivering National Plastics’ high-quality polyurethane, industrial plastic, and rubber products to mine sites and heavy industry operations across WA. The supply centre will be led by the company’s local product and support specialists, ensuring tailored support for local businesses.

National Plastics director Peter Tulley believes this expansion will significantly enhance the company’s ability to better understand and ultimately serve its customers in Western Australia.

“The new WA service centre marks a key step in improving our supply chain efficiency and enables us to get closer to our customers,” Tulley said. “Operating within the local time zone allows us to provide faster response times, more agile services, and a deeper understanding of the local market’s unique challenges.”

National Plastics is an Australian owned manufacturer and this local investment means customers can benefit from shorter lead times and access to expert technical support from National Plastics’ product developers and specialists.

“Collaborating closely with our customers has proven to foster innovations that lead to safer and more efficient workplaces,” Tulley said.

The new supply centre demonstrates National Plastics’ commitment to fostering local engagement and supporting the development and prosperity of Western Australia’s mining and heavy industries. The move will also improve the service offer to Nationals Plastics’ growing list of international mining customers who have Western Australian sites.
