AN ELECTRICS manufacturer has released a new motor management system.
The system includes current and voltage monitoring and protection and power measurement.
The product is capable of fault management, and includes pre-defined control modes.
The system records operation history and statistics, and features local logic and programmable input/output. The unit includes multiple integrated communication options, and can be connected directly to five popular industrial field-buses.
Quality information about the machine’s status can be fed into the system in real time, and accept control commands via automation networks.
An operator display can also be connected to the system providing local control, monitoring and parameter alteration.
