SOFT-BLAST will display the award-winning JKSimBlast modular blasting software system on Stand 805 at AIMEX 2007.
The software uses simulation and analysis to assist in standardising control of blasts by quantifying and trapping experience in a consistent, retrievable format.
It integrates, within one system, the tasks associated with design, simulation and analysis; including the storage and manipulation of models, data and results. It can be used for open cut and underground mining, and tunneling.
CAD-like tools create a complete blast design for simulated detonation and performance analysis.
Volume, tonnage, powder factor, component and total costs can be calculated for the design.
Advanced analysis tools facilitate benchmarking and blast optimisation, and predict factors such as fragmentation, energy distribution and vibration.
