Microstepping driver ramps up safety

LIN Engineering has relaunched the R208 microstepping driver.

The updated version was manufactured in compliance with the Restrictriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations.

The driver has automatic current reduction and delivers two amps of phase current to any bipolar step motor.

Users can set the micro stepping resolution to full step, half step, 1/4 step or 1/8 step.

The driver features optically isolated step, direction and disable inputs, built-in thermal shut down, and current control features.
