ALIMAK Hek will promote its SE Ex range of lifts designed for hazardous areas on Stand B1006 at AIMEX 2007.
These lifts have been specifically designed for use in hazardous areas with explosive atmospheres, and are suitable for many above and below ground applications.
The Alimak SE-Ex range complies with ATEX (Europe) and NEC (USA) regulations — offering protection in Zone 1, Gas group IIB and Temperature class T4 and Class 1 Division 2, Gas group C & D, Temperature class T4 respectively.
This range covers 13 standard car sizes ranging between 0.91m x 1.3m and 1.56m x 2.21m, with capacities of 400—1,600 kg. The lifts have direct-on-line motor control and travel speeds of 0.4—0.6 m/sec.
